Being a Friend of Legacy Parks is a great way to support our work to conserve our natural resources, create public places, and connect communities in East Tennessee. Support from Friends has helped us conserve more than 1,000 acres of forests and farmland, raise over $8 million for parks, trails and open space, and add 500 acres of parkland in our region. With your help, we can do even more!
Being a Friend has its benefits!
Because outdoor recreation and a healthy environment is good for business too, several local businesses offer discounts to Friends of Legacy Parks! Additional benefits are listed next to each level of investment below.
Maximize your gift
-Make your gift in memory or honor of someone. We will acknowledge your gift with a note to the designated individual or family and recognize you as a Friend at the appropriate level.
-Ask your employer to set up a matching gift program and encourage colleagues to contribute

Gifts of Land/Easements and In-kind
Protecting land through a donation to Legacy Parks allows you to help expand our park and green space holdings and influence how the land will be used for generations to come. Present-day gifts or planned bequests are both appreciated.
Donating goods or services is a welcome way for you to help defray Legacy Parks’ operating costs while potentially benefiting from a tax deduction for the fair market value of the gift.
For any of these gifts, please contact Carol Evans at 865.525.2585 or email@example.com
Legacy Parks could not do our work to expand and protect our parks, trails, open space and waterways without support from our donors and sponsors. There are multiple ways to support Legacy Parks’ mission and the health and vitality of our community including our Friend of a Friend and Affinity Partnerships.
